Stainless Steel Tangless Wire Thread Inserts offer durable, wear-resistant screw threads that eliminate the need for tang break-off and retrieval.
There are Two Styles to Choose From:
1. Free-Running Tangless Inserts: These provide smooth, free-running threads.
2. Screw-Locking Tangless Inserts: They offer self-locking torque on the male member through “chords” on one or more insert coils.
Advantages of Tangless Inserts:
1. No loose tangs are left behind.
2. Ideal for critical applications where foreign object debris must be avoided.
3. Eliminate the need for tang break-off and retrieval.
4. Easy to adjust or remove post-installation.
